The front-wheel-drive Honda Odyssey is a minivan that can seat seven or eight, depending on the trim level. It has a 280-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine that works with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission or an optional 10-speed automatic.

The 2020 Odyssey may not seem very cool, but the Honda minivan is the perfect tool for the modern family. With a cavernous and comfortable cabin, the Odyssey can shuttle up to eight people. It's available with a roster of innovative features that includes a rear-seat video feed to monitor the kids and an in-cabin PA system to make sure third-row passengers can clearly hear the driver. Despite its lackluster body style, the 2020 Odyssey is actually enjoyable to drive, with speedy acceleration and agile handling. Those traits are supplemented by solid fuel economy and desirable infotainment features.

The 2020 Toyota Sienna can be all things to all families. It’s a minivan, so that solves an issue when seeking a vehicle that can seat more than five. The Sienna can accommodate up to eight. Its versatile interior can handle an expensive trip to Ikea just as easily as a road trip to the lake or the coast. The gutsy V6 engine can be trusted to haul a loaded Sienna up steep hills without complaint. 

With three rows of seats and loads of cargo space, the Ford is purpose-built for shuttling families. Its powertrain roster includes a capable turbocharged four-cylinder, an efficient hybrid option, and a powerful twin-turbo V-6. Along with a comfortable ride and a unique sport-tuned model, the Explorer's broad lineup provides something for everyone. It's also loaded with standard equipment such as automated emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
